THIS IS POLITICAL ART

In a world where repeated exposure to suffering can numb our response, we ask whether art can restore a sense of urgency, empathy and connection.

Our event "The Cost of Looking Away" will take place early 2027

Mark the Moment, Join the Effort, Be There

Show your support to the humanitarian crisis in Sudan by joining us as we bridge the gap between art and activism at our event, early next year.

This is Political Art is curating its debut event in Ireland in aid of the humanitarian crisis in Sudan. This will involve an art exhibition, live performances and finally an auction, which will turn inspired works into vital aid, supporting the efforts of our charity partner, Concern Worldwide. We are currently looking forward to our early 2027 showcase, entitled

"The Cost of Looking Away",

for which tickets and more details will be available soon.

Sudan - The World's Largest Displacement Crisis

The Sudanese Civil War will enter its fourth year in April 2026, extending a crisis that has more-than-doubled humanitarian need in the country since 2022. OCHA estimates that 33.7 million people will require assistance in 2026, a 10% increase compared to the previous year. Famine was first confirmed in the country in 2024. - Concern Worldwide

Despite the scale of the crisis in Sudan, its complexity, and its impact on people, this story has received little international attention and media coverage. One of our Sudanese colleagues put it plainly: This is a result of “deliberate international indifference to the war in Sudan.” - Doctors Without Borders

Additionally, we encourage artists and cultural contributors to join our 2027 collective. This is an opportunity for exposure as well as to auction a politically inspired work for humanitarian aid. Your talent serves as the bridge between activism and action.
